The service

JuTalk is a Mac app that turns your speech into text and types it where your cursor is. Using JuTalk requires an account and, after the free trial, a paid plan.

Free trial

New accounts get a free trial of 7 days that includes 1 hour of dictation, whichever runs out first. It starts the first time you sign in to the Mac app. No payment details are needed for the trial.

Plans and billing

• Plans include a number of hours of dictated audio per calendar month. Unused time doesn't carry over.
• Yearly plans get the same monthly hours as the monthly plan of the same name.
• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Polar, our merchant of record, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from your account page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.

Fair use

Don't use JuTalk to break the law, to record people without their consent, or to try to get around its limits or abuse the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

What you dictate is yours. We process it only to give you the text back, as described in our privacy policy.

No guarantees

Speech recognition and AI cleanup can make mistakes, so check important text before you send it. JuTalk is provided as is, and we're not liable for indirect damages arising from its use, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
